James Coleman
Summary
As a renowned and highly praised astrophysicist, Neil DeGrasse Tyson authored arguably one of the best guides to the universe of all time. As dry as the titles sounds, the content is anything but. Tyson tackles mind-expanding questions with ease and spunk, he offers an introduction to the creation and evolution of the universe, he makes the reader learn about the cosmos through witty humor and understandable comparisons. For example: "so dark matter is our frenemy. We have no idea how it works. It's kind of annoying." Since we know how 'frenemies' work, the reader then can apply that knowledge to the concepts we once found impossible to grasp. His only goal in writing this book was to educate the human population to become aware and curious so we can all communicate and solve problems together. If there is any book one should read about the universe and our small place in it, that book would be Tyson's.
